The Abbasabad Cultural and Tourist Area spans 560 hectares and is known
as the "Green Jewel of the Capital." It is recognized as a major tourism
and recreational hub in Tehran and is one of the city's most famous and
frequently visited attractions.
This special area welcomes thousands of visitors daily, featuring parks,
thematic parks, bridges, and modern facilities. Resalat Highway borders
the Abbasabad Cultural and Tourist Area to the north, Shahid Motahari
Street to the south, Vali Asr Street to the west, and Shariati Street to
the east.
The presence of landmarks such as the Tabiat Bridge (Pol-e Tabiat),
Ab-o-Atash and Taleghani Parks, the Islamic Revolution and Museum of the
Holy Defense, Behesht-e Madaran Park, Mina Dome, Book Garden, House of
Poetry and Literature, Art Garden, Food Garden, and Ocean Park has made
this area one of the most visited destinations in Tehran.
Notably, the Tabiat Bridge was once ranked the second most popular
tourist attraction in Tehran, after Golestan Palace, on the
international travel website TripAdvisor.
