The Flag Tower, standing 150 meters tall, is located in one of the highest areas of the Abbasabad Cultural and Tourist Area, specifically in Taleghani Park. Its 156 steps have made it the venue for two stair-climbing record competitions.
Strategically placed to be visible from Tehran's main highways, the Flag Tower serves as a city landmark. On windy days, the 300-kilogram flag mounted on the tower engages in a natural spectacle, creating quite a stir.
The steel structure of the tower covers an area of 530 square meters and rises approximately 1,500 meters above sea level. Positioned on a platform, it is elevated 14 steps from the ground. The surrounding area, spanning 650 square meters, is designed as a reflective space for visitors to approach the sacred flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
