Norooz Lake

Norooz Lake

Norooz Park is located in the heart of the Abbasabad Tourist Area and is considered one of the most important parks in this complex. It has been designed with specific cultural, social, national, and international themes to foster a sense of unity and the grandeur of ancient Persian culture. The park is divided into North Norooz and South Norooz sections, connected by the Mashaahir Square. ECO member countries that celebrate Norooz also have a share in this park. The North Norooz Park is designated for Eco Park to highlight the Norooz festival as a significant cultural feature shared among ECO member countries, who have celebrated Norooz for years as a time to welcome the blossoming season.

Within this park, Norooz Lake spans 17,000 square meters and is divided into three sections. The northern part of the lake represents a miniature version of the Caspian Sea and features a musical water display, although this musical feature is not always active due to high costs. The lake continues into the Mashaahir Square, known as the middle lake, and ultimately extends to the southern lake.

The Zodiac Constellation Square (representing the symbols of the solar months) has been designed with fixed lighting and fountains. It is located at the northern entrance of Nowruz Park, just after Abrisham 2 Bridge.
