Mina Dome is one of the largest planetariums in the world, with an 18-meter diameter dome that reflects the brilliance of the moon, sun, and stars. This science-tourism center offers a window to the cosmos, providing a deep journey into the mysterious and unknown world of the sky. Its glass dome and sun-like structure create an ideal space for astronomy enthusiasts, combining scientific tourism with educational experiences.
Located in the Solar System Park within the Abbasabad Cultural and Tourist Area of Tehran, the unique structure of Mina Dome spans 8,500 square meters. It hosts collaborative scientific, artistic, and innovative programs through astronomy clubs, science and entertainment, creativity and technology, focusing on astronomical education, astrophotography, planetarium cinema, and astronomy and nature tourism. The center also organizes various scientific events and festivals.
The Science and Planetarium Center of Mina Dome has been a member of the International Planetarium Society for several terms and was awarded the 20th Iranian Science Promotion Award by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
